This course is aimed at those who have to manage others to get the work done. It concentrates on practical day-to-day issues that have to be addressed if we are to organise and control others but at the same time bring out their talents and abilities and put them to good use to achieve organisational goals.

 

It is intended for all those people who manage others or who need to know about this most fundamental management task.

 

At the end of the course participants will know how they can become more effective people managers and so improve employee performance.

METHOD

 

The course uses case studies and other exercises to investigate and resolve practical issues in managing people. Debate and discussion will be encouraged so that participants can consider how the learning points from the course can be applied to their own roles.
