LEADERSHIP IN THE MODERN ORGANISATION (2 days)

HOW TO LEAD OTHERS SO THAT THEY WILLINGLY AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY STRIVE TO ACHIEVE YOUR OBJECTIVES

In the modern fast changing world leading others requires greater levels of skill and ability than ever before. Technological, social and environmental factors have made it necessary for leaders to be flexible, adaptable and close to their staff so that they can motivate subordinates to achieve ever greater demanding organisational goals. The ever-increasing competitive environment means leaders must have, and be able to rely on, good quality highly committed staff.

Here we consider what leadership in the modern organisation means and how to go about it. What skills and qualities does the modern leader need? How to empower and delegate without losing control. And perhaps most important of all, how to effectively motivate others to provide that extra effort that makes the difference between organisational success and failure.

At the end of the course participants will know how to be better leaders and will have an appreciation of their own natural leadership style.
